1 Day Workshop

In this workshop students will learn proper facial anatomy to sculpt a realistic female head using Marianne's technique.

The process of sculpting a realistic head is taught step-by-step; from constructing a foil skull, adding a breast plate and adding polymer clay. The 2 - 3 inch head made in class will be for an 18 inch doll By the end of one day students will have a finished, unbaked head, ready to take home.

Workshop Hours:
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 1 hour lunch break (Light lunch provided)

Prep Work:
There is no pre-class work for this workshop.

Supply List:
A supply list will be sent out to all students prior to class. The list of items needed for this workshop is minimal. Items include: Super Sculpey clay, aluminum foil, florist tape, and sculpting tools.

Skill Level: Intermediate
This class is open to people who have some experience with polymer clay, or have taken a previous gnome class by Marianne. It is important that students be familiar with using polymer clay in the class to help create a smooth facial surface.
